Job Responsibilities

Machine and Core Component Design

Plan complete laser cutting machine solutions and carry out mechanical structure design for equipment including 2D sheet laser cutting machines, 3D five-axis laser cutting machines, and sheet-and-tube integrated laser cutting machines. Develop key functional components such as machine beds, crossbeams, transmission systems, cutting head height-following systems, and automatic loading and unloading systems.

Detailed Design and Technical Documentation

Use 3D mechanical design software to complete detailed structural designs and prepare engineering drawings, BOMs, and other relevant technical documents.

Technical Problem-Solving

Analyze and resolve mechanical issues arising during product development, assembly, commissioning, and on-site customer operation, including vibration, accuracy, and stability problems. Continuously improve and optimize product designs.

Standard Component Selection

Perform calculations, selection, and verification for key standard components, including linear guide rails, ball screws, servo motors, gear reducers, pneumatic cylinders, and bearings.

Cross-Department Collaboration

Work closely with the electrical engineering, software, process engineering, and production teams to ensure seamless integration between mechanical structures, control systems, software functions, and manufacturing processes.

Technology Research and Innovation

Keep up with the latest developments in the laser equipment industry and introduce suitable new materials and manufacturing processes to improve equipment accuracy, speed, stability, and cost competitiveness.

Technical Support and Training

Provide necessary technical support and training to the production, assembly, and after-sales service teams.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering or a related field.
2. Strong knowledge of mechanical principles and practical mechanical design experience.
3. Proficiency in CAD, SolidWorks, and other relevant mechanical design software.
4. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
5. At least three years of relevant industry experience. Candidates with laser equipment project experience or experience in the laser cutting machine industry are preferred.
